Could somebody tell the performance figures for the 430 , also are they reliable and are they a fortune to maintain?

From what i have seen Merc service costs are tiny

my ML55 cost 180- quid for a A service

Bit of both. The specialists are pretty good to be honest. I've used one in Brum here for a while now, pretty pleased with the work done. Not the rip off prices you get charged in an MB dealership.
