Alfa Romeo Guilia QF

I am amazed that this scrubbing noise is "normal". It sounds horrible. Mind you, I don't think people outside the car can hear it. I'll have to do some tests to see if they can.
By the way, Competizione Red is a weird colour. Depending on the light it looks either red, maroon, or even a purplish brown. I look forward to seeing it on a bright sunny day.

Is it likely to end like the infamous PH custard thread where the OP did actually own a whole fleet of biblical cars? That poor bloke got a proper roasting, only to well and truly drop a bomb on the haters with some casual, but oh so revealing shots of his truly remarkable collection.
That can't have been either me or my husband, since neither of us know how to submit pictures to forums. Mind you, since we've now got our teenage daughter on the case, pictures of some of our fleet will follow. The Audi Quattro Avant V8 is not there ( my husband's gone shooting and is using that car ), nor is the Lagonda, since that at the restorers workshop ).Watch this space !

Congrats on getting your car and good choice of colour - same as mine! It even looks good covered in winter muck.
Answering your question about tyres - I had the same when the weather started getting colder and the Pirelli’s were too stiff because of the cold. I went for Continental TS 830 Winter Tyres from mid October and I have not had the issue. The performance is great with the Conti’s and no noise, but I also get to put the Pirelli’s back on in March! : D
Thank you, amigo. I had thought that cold, stiff tyres might be the problem, but to get a recommendation re a specific tyre to resolve the situation is really great.Answering your question about tyres - I had the same when the weather started getting colder and the Pirelli’s were too stiff because of the cold. Do you have Apple Car Play on yours? Mine didn’t have the option and I have it on another car and want to see if it can be retrofitted.
I'm sorry, amigo, but I have no idea. Not only that but my teenage daughter has left now so I can't even ask her.Do you have Apple Car Play on yours? Mine didn’t have the option and I have it on another car and want to see if it can be retrofitted.
Ciao.

I'm not sure if this is very helpful to you, but according to my daughter ( who Googled the subject ). It does say ( in confirmation of your comments ) that QF's are compatible with ACP, but they are an option. A pal,of mine is taking delivery of his QF later today. He is a real techie; I'll see what he says.
Ciao,
Rosanne.

Your probably right, but on what bit! i think this is a very tangled web, so some parts are true some could be BS! are you calling for custard?
i mean it sounds like either the poster is bi-polar or 2 people are using the username, or one person is and pretending to be someone else!
That garage doesn't look like a boat could fit in it though
edit and posting in such a way as to make people think they are a either a very clever troll or completely disconnected with the real world.
I couldn't get the John Deere tractor, or the six mountain bikes, or the ride on mower into that garage either,,let alone the boat and trailer. All that lot, and more, fit into my barn. The garage is for daily use carsi mean it sounds like either the poster is bi-polar or 2 people are using the username, or one person is and pretending to be someone else!

I am truly apologetic, guys, if my comments make you believe me to be any of the above things. We are an ordinary family who like nice cars. Both sets of our parents were the same.i mean it sounds like either the poster is bi-polar or 2 people are using the username, or one person is and pretending to be someone else!

That's how we inherited a Lagonda Rapide, a Humber Super Snipe estate car, a Hillman Minx convertible, a Singer Vogue and a Triumph Dolomite Sprint. Daddy was managing director of the Rootes Group, which is why we have so many bloody Hillmans, Humbers and Singers ! There is also a Porsche 356 knocking around somewhere.
If you are scouring the net to try and trip me up, you might find that I once said that I owned a chain of nail bars. I do, but now they are run by my daughter, since I prefer cows to humans.
Ciao !
