I have an 06 GT 1.9 JDTM (slave on top of the gearbox). Clutch has been moderately heavy since I bought it 2 years ago, didn't seem to be getting worse.

About 6 months ago I noticed the clutch start to slip, just very slightly, under full power. A few months later I noticed the pedal bite point start to dip slightly - this did start to get a bit worse. Yesterday I drove the car and the bite was still low, but nothing I was urgently worried about.

Got in this morning and the bite point was at the floor, pedal had gone completely light, no gears. Just checked the reservoir (shared with the brakes?) and it does look low.

I fully suspect the slave is the main issue. However I cannot see any leaks around it. Can the slave leak into the bellhousing and then cause the clutch to slip? Or is the clutch on the way out too?
