Hi everyone. looking to change the M4 soon and would like to go for a Giulia. I got a great deal on the M4 back when it was first released and info on how to get the best possible price is fairly available on the internet. The Quadrifoglio however seems a little more difficult. I would be looking to PCP the car and will have it optioned to around £71k. I have used carwow and discounts seem to be at 8% contribution. Is this normal or should I be looking for the 15% they are offering as a straight sale? Normally dealerships offer preferred discount to their finance packages so it seems odd to have the straight sale so competitive. TIA

Take a PCP deal out with a finance house not linked to Alfa - get the bigger discount as you’ll be a cash buyer.
Been looking at this, this afternoon. That way got a £9.5k discount at Leicester on the cards. Missed out on the £11k i had a Derby in the last quarter but just wasn't ready to do a deal then.

QF is more costly to make than the M4, which is a factor in why they aren't so heavily discounted. BMW have massive margins thanks to the sheer volume of cars, the QF is still very rare to see on the roads.

On the upside for us current owners, the lack of discounts is good for residuals.
Build cost aside. The car is more expensive to buy than an M4 in the beginning and Alfa guarantee a lower future value than BMW. This push both ways on the amount to finance coupled with a worse interest rate makes it considerably more expensive to own. You’d hope the residuals stay strong and see it back in equity but that’s just hoping.

Had a test drive today and really enjoyed the car. Couple minor niggles in that the screen is very reflective and the lovely green and white stitching is perfectly in your eyeline. It’s very hard to gauge a car on an assisted test drive I think. BMW will let me have any m car for days on end to help a decision. As far a deals the car wasn’t subject to much discount but I expect that’s the dealership. The mention of a 10% Brexit price rise is a worry so I’m going to hang fire until that settles. It was also said deposit would be lost if I backed out because of the rise! Anyone else had this? I went to BMW and asked them, they said that wouldn’t happen on a new order with them. Despite them importing the car also. If there were anything ever to change an agreement on their part they would fully return any deposit.
