Giulietta advice for the 2015/2016 model

Im seeking some buying and owning advice on this car in the 1.7 petrol engine version.
I understand in 2015 it was badged as a quadrifoglio verde, and it 2016 it was rebadged a Veloce ? I noticed the grill changed but dont know if any other changes happened ?
These 2 years fall into my budget range for alow mileage car. (circa £15K)
My limited research has indicated there are no real horror stories with this car, but regular oil changes using the corect oil are essential.
My local garage, Alfa Aid in Maidnehad have one on the forcourt which Ive sat in, but the sales guy said they only give test drives if your a serious buyer (fair play I guess) so Ive never driven the car yet, but it seemed comfortable inside for my 6'4" frame. No leg room behind me tho !
I always drive auto's by choice, but Ive never tried one of these modern auto 'boxes. Came close to buying a 147 many years ago but the selespeed stories put me off.
Happy to read any comments from the more informed Alfa fans here before I decide.

Just out of interest what is your driving "style" and what average mpg are you getting ? Do you just leave it in auto, or work it of the paddles ?
Apart from the very occasional spirited drive I tend to just cruise around, stick to the limits and dont thrash my cars. Im what youd call mechanically sympathetic
