Evening all, I have always been a fan of the Integrale as they look amazing and have good a motorsport history.
What is owner's view's as I always had M3's and Mitsubishi Evo's.
How would you compare them?
I'm sold on the looks alone!
I'm Keen on 16v or Evo 1?

I looked at buying a 16v car in 1992/93, when they were about £11,995 ish for a 1989/1990 car...

Tried a red one, via a dealer, owned by someone in the McAlpine family. I was car mad at the time, but it seemed like a money pit to use as a daily. Cambelt was (I believe) an engine out job for example, certainly was then anyway.

Visited Walkers too, but I just didn't feel confident. More about me than the car I think.

Went down the e30 route instead, then onto an M5 etc, but Integrales are cool cars.

Mika Salo had a grey one, and Jock Clear had a red one in latter years. Rowan Atkinson loved his too. Things like that I remember being influenced by...
I went down the E30 route too! 325i sport then E46 M3, I would still love an Integrale though, watching Marku Allen and Juha Kankkunen on grandstand in Martini Integrale's was amazing!

Thanks for the replies and information.
I'm no expert on Lancia's but a mechanic to trade helps. And handy with a mig welder which may come in handy!
going to view it on the 28th, I will keep the thread posted!

Looks fantastico, keep us all updated with how you get on with it.

If you haven`t already Id suggest joining the Evocorner forum it has alot of very knowledgeable people on it, also the search function goes back years, so no matter what problem the car throws up it`ll be in the FAQs section.
Thanks Mallygreen for the information on the forum I will check that out.

Yellow Evo 2? Probably me.

Always enjoy having random interactions like the cab driver who literally stopped in the middle of the road to wind the window down and chat.

Or the E30 M3 Evo driver on the M25 who appeared to have a fit as we passed each other like a rare celestial event.

Or the small boys who have never seen one and possibly don't know what it is, but stop and stare open mouthed as it goes by, because they just get it.
I bet that looks awesome alright! Any pics of it?

Mine is now listed in the PH classifieds.
It looks like a nice example, I'm sure it will sell no problem.
You see more Evos for sale than 16vs? And 8vs must be even rarer?
You need too add more pictures, good outside, underside, under bonnet and interior pictures are always a great selling point.

In all my motoring life I was only aware of one Evo and for some reason I have never forgotten it . Owned by a Couple of Italian Lads in Bletchley who had inherited a Cafe from their Grandfather it was in Broom Yellow . This would be in the early nineties when I was running an Escort Cosworth and occasionally they would raise their hand as we passed on the road . Looking back now at what is an incredible 30 years ( I hadn't realised this ) the Cosworth was viewed then as the more modern design . Viewed today however I think its the Evo that has stood the test of time better ?
The Integrale has aged beautifully like a fine wine! The Escort cosworth doesnt look too shabby either!
Sometimes ultra modern car or home designs age faster! Georgian houses will always look good unlike the grand design glass eco boxes?
I am a German car guy, However Italian car design is streets ahead!
Just my opinion? Correct me if i'm wrong?
