Pwig, wombat, mon ami, jimbro.....and everyone else that persevered with my questions (again)

I bought it, a Y reg silver sportwagon with sp3 pack(I think) and red leather

I have questioned my sanity leaving faultless BMW ownership to dive headlong into unpredictability...

Ta to all for the advice.
Mike.

(fingers crossed)

Funny that malcolm, I went to a job once, it became clear that his vacuum and long extendable hose had been used as a 'love' toy We won't go into that here though.

I'm picking the alfa up nearer the end of the week which I am looking forward to after a bit of tidying by the dealer. (paint under the petrol cap a bit faded) plus a good clean and check underneath.

How much do alfanet charge for an interim service malcolm?

Not a bad deal, £5900 eventually after haggling session from hell.

Couldn't find one in my budget pwig.
I did buy a cracker of a 2.0 twinspark sportwagon.
Silver veloce with red leather, teledials, on a Y plate.
Full alfa history, 1 prev owner, bit high on the miles at 80ish but pulled it off with a warranty and full valet for £5900.

Sound good to you? (being in the trade and all that)

Thanks folks,
Belts done at 70k wombat, and due its 80k interim service about now.

Haggling points were....Needs mot in 2months (first one), slight discolouration of plastic bumper under petrol filler, probably due to dribbling (nurse...)
And thats about it.

Quite pleased with my tenacity, he made the mistake of saying that he didnt usually deal in alfas, and not much call for them in the rural area he lived..after I heard that I knew he could bend a bit.

Even squeezed a warranty out of him....

Sold the beemer privately though which is a help.

Must keep this car must keep this car must keep this car must keep this car must keep this car must keep this car.

Regards to all.
