That is a good deal and it looks amazing but still £8k off of £70k that the chap mentioned. I'm assuming he is trolling us
TX.
I was talking about non competition pack cars.... I was offered one with good spec at £70,500 and a discount of £24,800.
TX.

Ok fair enough. Re my comment though, bargain of the century surely as what other brand new mighty horsepower car can you get for that price?
TX.
Absolutely agree with you, they make a lot of sense at this sort of money and I guess the only real competition currently is E63 which is available at almost the same price/discounts. Having bought 4 brand new ‘M’s in the last 7 years I think the depreciation you endure with this level of healthy ‘discount’ is entirely acceptable for what you get. Reading this post and seeing the pics has even got me re-considering buying one this weekend and getting an additional hatch/suv for the times I need more space/practicality. My wife doesn’t drive so she’ll go potty if I trade one car for two TX.

I do love the photos of the cars with the Silverstone interior.....

I had an email from Specialist Cars BMW Tring today stating they have 3 remaining stock M5 Competitions and are offering them with £20K off.
Just thought I'd share in case anyone is interested.
Are these new, or pre-reg cars?Just thought I'd share in case anyone is interested.

LOL £68K
It’s irrelevant that they gave £68k PX, it’s the cost to change that is interesting as I doubt they’ll get much more than that £68k when it’s sold on.2018 M5 plus £10k for a new comp is a great price and shows the deals are out there if you push hard enough. 75k for a high spec new comp now.

I'm amazed that they paid that much vs £78k for the M5 CP. You can buy a new M5 (non-CP) for just over £70k according to this thread. A cost to switch of £10k from a used M5 to a new M5 CP is remarkable!
Not surprised that you bit their hand off...
TBH I would not have accepted £58K I would keep it first. Not seen a new M5 for £70K, seen secondhand one's for £68/70KNot surprised that you bit their hand off...

BMW has used F90s starting from £62.5k and nearly 30 of them below £70k. Clearly they need to take a margin out of the deal, which is why I imagined that you would be offered around £58k.https://usedcars.bmw.co.uk/result/?body_type=M5-Sa...
I think you have done very well to get £68k for it. These are still too expensive for me, so I’m hoping that BMW continue to over-supply them!
