Liberty Walk widebody Ferrari F40 at Tokyo Motor Salon 2023 https://instagram.com/libertywalkkato?igshid=YmMyM...

Why would anybody think it is ok to mess with an F40 is beyond me
they are hardly rare

I would do that in a heart beat to one
It makes no difference if it is rare or not, a truly iconic car like an F40 should not be ruined like this.

I would love to know what Ferrari think about it.
It’s not ruined though, is it?

That concept is entirely subjective. You think it’s ruined because you don’t like it and/or don’t approve of someone modifying an F40, whereas others will like it.
Regardless It still looks crap as they all do with these stupid Liberty Walk Kits.
People fall in to 2 camps regarding cars

Those that buy and do things for themselves

Or those that spend hours on configuring a car for maximum residuals do end up buying exactly the same cars as everyone else

Once you've bought a car you can do what you like with it, it's yours.

Sorry not the best picture, but there's a lot to unpack here.

The front’s quite speshul too…

That’s pretty special. Imagine doing all of that, standing back and thinking ‘smashed it’ to yourself.
Unless it was for charity, there has to be better base car to choose for a Mad Max tribute.

I think the wing would actually suit the 944, if it was in racing guise rather than plastered in stickers about fking Karen.

It's a funny one, I've seen this Liberty wk doing the rounds online for a few weeks now.

I'm 50yr old, have my grumpy moments, and I think this is definitely the right thread.

My son, 17yr old apprentice mechanic, plays xbox etc, thinks it's the dogs bks.

I wouldn't even go 20p and a fun-sized Curly Wurly against you on that bet.

I couldn't give a monkey's if someone chops on F40 but sinking the wheels into the wells just doesn't work on a vertical flanked car like an F40 (yes, yes, fares in gp.C cars looked cool, but that's completely different...)
