The airbrushing is a waste, really. It was obviously done with a modicum of skill but the subject matter is so pedestrian that it doesn't really offer any sort of improvement. What happened to the creative painting of the seventies and eighties? Admittedly a lot of those were much better executed, but the whole aesthetic sensibility seems to be a thing of the past. Yeah, after you've spent £2k getting rid of the "art" and at least another grand fixing the rust and you're left with a knackered French car that's maybe worth £1,000 on a good day, then you'll be really thor.
I don’t know man, he’s dreaming at £6k but at £1000ish that would be a good buy imo.Blow over the mural and you’d have a great shed, maybe even a wee resto project if you can be bothered or take the running gear for a project.
