At risk of sounding slightly stalkerish, I note that you have a posting history of just 45 posts in 135 months. The fact that you have shared a fairly significant proportion of your carefully-dispensed jewels with we 'umble breakfasteers recently is possibly something of a compliment.

Regardless, I am very much looking forward to seeing the 150 kcal breakfast that you'll be sharing with a chum (and all us lot, obvs) tomorrow.

Oh come on, don't denigrate him. It's 'a dear friend', whatever that is. Probably below 'chum'

150 cals is akin to half a sausage OR a small smoothy (if you're so inclined).

Although I've had worst at £18 head at some hotels...

And mine, although mine was typically polite.

(I thought Dibble had been banned, tbh. It was funny though)

If there's one thing funnier than another man's awful breakfast, it's watching another another man be quite extraordinarily rude to another man when another man was, in all honesty, asking for it.

Well that's disappointing, moderator action on the breakfast thread. FFS what next?

It's been almost 500 pages of folks being both supportive and blatantly rude in equal measures about others offerings and nobody has fallen out over it. The sort of sharp tongued banter that used to be trademark of PH.

Tbh I don't know what Dibble said or any other posts removed, but how the mods can live with themselves ruining a perfectly good thread and yet leaving in place the utter trolling bile that is on other areas of the site. Shame on them.

/ rant

Apologies, bit testy, crap brekkers today, +2 on the Swinnerton scale. Equivalent of the Italian style tiny coffee and an even smaller yoghurt. Humbug. Stamps foot.

Lets put it behind us.

Someone post a crap breakfast pronto. We need to dismantle someone's life. (for their own good, obvs)

Careful SJ, I'm about to report that and get you a lifetime ban. I'll have you know it's an ancient and largely forgotten tartan from the Kings of the Universe, from whom I draw my proud ancestry and love of piquant chorizo.

Not entirely true old bean. Didn't Bolidemichael strop after a bad tempered exchange following one of his launched mushroom omelettes, the teasing of which caused him to utter some fairly direct commentary, never to be seen again?

It's usually a beacon of safe-space and appropriately-nuanced merciless piss-taking, but Dibble was perhaps unusually and needlessly forthright over his cornflakes this morning.

You! And your little Toto too!

ETA - remembered one of the most famous lines in cinema wrong:

"I'll get you, my pretty, and your little dog too!"
