Cayman R suspension on a Cayman S
Discussion
Anyone in the UK done this? Been reading a few threads particularly this one from some guys in the States who have done this. There's also a review of the install process here. It doesn't appear to be that expensive either going by this retrofit kit.
From what I can gather the suspension is pretty much a straight swap and drops the car ~20mm. If you have PASM it would have to be disabled as the R doesn't have PASM anyway, so I imagine this would be a mod for non-PASM guys such as myself.
Plus being a Porsche part I don't imagine there would be issues with warranty (ala Gibbo fitting X51 mods to his car and Porsche signing off on them)?
Interested to hear thoughts on this

You can only fit parts which were designed for your model or was at option when specifying the car new.
All the mods I've done were designed for my car and were an option from the factory.
When you spec a Cayman S, is there an option to fit Cayman R suspension, if there is then your warranty will remain intact, if there is not then you shall void your warranty as you shall be fitting a part to the car which was not designed for your model and as such voids your insurance policy.
