Depending on what your complaint is, procedure failure or looking for goodwill.

If your car is over 6 years old and/or you haven't used them for servicing/purchase will be difficult, also as mentioned they have tightened up on goodwill since VW.

No car s 4yrs old and bought from OPC 3 weeks back. Was delivered with faulty gearbox , creaking suspension, chipped alloys and creaking dash. It went back and all sorted apart from gearbox that is no different although it can be repaired under warranty at another OPC I guess. Just hugely disappointing and mate thinks I shud complain

That's what my mate reckons but what's the likely outcome other than another OPC puts it right??

Indeed, why pay the significant premium otherwise?

So I'm assuming the chap at the garage is innumerate and instead of doing a 111 point check, actually did a 1 point check.
i.e. wheels? check!
IIRC that's a four point check. getmecoat

Well it was diagnosed as 6th gear syncro gone as it crunches badly wen it goes in gear so was Yemen in and I was without the car fir 1.5 weeks whilst a part was ordered from Germany I was told.
Car was delivered back and at normal changing speed there is absolutely no difference. My immediate question was "who test drives these cars?'!!!! Anyhow illl be speaking to offending dealer tomorrow and local OPC (who looked shocked wen I told them car was delivered like that) to arrange to get it fixed under warranty. I've no idea if it's fixable or weather a new gearbox is needed but as it stands the car isn't right

I'm sure but is there any point in kicking up a stink to Porsche about it?

As long as they fix it, no.

No - just take it back to the dealer who was supposed to fix it and give them another chance. They have had one go and got it wrong, but that sometimes happen. Try and keep your cool and just be assertive with them.

I'd rather let my local OPC sort it but I share the view that contacting porsche will get me zero

One last point is that I'm thinking if I contact Porsche that may preempt any potential problems of them saying the car should not have been warrantied by an opc and given a Porsche backed
guarantee in that state with the gearbox
so I'd need to take it up with the opc.
