Hi has any one had any experience of this independent garage. I’m looking to possibly purchase from them but as i’m not from that area I have no background on them, all looks really good but nothing like getting PH feed back.

If you would rather PM any comments please do. I'm looking for any honest reports on dealing with them from first contact to aftersales.

Many thanks

Sold my first DB9 to them and they were very professional. Would have no hesitation buying a car off them and i undertand have a good reputation within the trade.

Top guys. Been in the job a number of years and they will look after you. Very professional. Plus they now offer aston servicing.

I'll watch out for it as I'll be with them from about 10. First impressions really good.

Brought my V8 Vantage from them 18 months ago. Very Proffesional, no hard sell , down to earth fellow Petrolheads who IMHO know there stuff...Also have just opened there own workshop with an experienced Aston Martin mechanic.

Honestly I couldn't fault them.

In a nutshell,,,great cars in great condition but similar prices to an Aston dealer from what i have seen over the past 3 or 4 months of trying to buy a DB9 Volante. ( which by the way is sitting very pretty on carpet in my garage which has just had a radiator installed to keep it warm and cosy through the winter)

Love the idea of the heater..... Trouble is my better half already thinks I look after the cars better than her smile

Not really surprised by the service you received from McGurks. Indeed, anybody beginning with Mc in my book deserves a wee bit of respect. Especially McDonalds.

Now Dicky, if you would like to expose your juxtaposition, perhaps we may assist in some way....... smile

Jockman, I thought it was going to be easy picking a car this time. I’ve had one before and after spending too many hours on here reading the threads I pretty much knew what to look for especially after a few helpful comments from other PH members (Previous topic)

http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... advice before I take the plunge again.

So the quandary I face without going into too much detail as both organisations use this site is that I’m going to go for another N400, should of kept the first one... but this time with a soft top. Ones at an indy and the other at an Austin dealer. The price will be roughly the same so the big question is black or silver, sportshift or manual.

Paddy I would normally agree but the silver on the N400 is the same as on the DBS and it has real depth. If you put it next to the normal colours it really stands out. So not that strait forward.

Is it lightning silver?

Personally, the only colour that would tempt me away from something like onyx black would be morning frost.

Its a pearl white.

Buy the mcgurks n400 and then get me to detail it ready for your collection and then you will have a nice shiny and protected motor ;-)

I might just take you up on that Paddy... it has some stone chips that stand out a mile so not sure what we are going to about them... but the guys will come back to me early next week. How far do you come out as my other cars could do with a good going over.

I get the impresion you like the black AM's... smile
