[PS3] BF3 PH server hire

Just seen in the main bf3 thread that ps3 private servers are live!

On my phone, so haven't got the pricing details, but servers are available as:

1 day rent
7 day rent
1 month rent
3 months rent

Thought I'd canvass opinion regarding a/some PH servers.

Would people be interested in chipping in together to have one or more 'permanent' servers, single 'event' one day servers or any combination?

I personally would be happy to chip in towards a permanent PH server, with a simple admin structure and voting for rules/variations etc.

However, I can also see the appeal of 'one time only' one day server hire for co-ordinated PH sessions, maybe against other teams?

I'll be honest and say I've never had anything to do with anything like this, so not sure of the usual methods/management/issues that can happen.

Although if we went to a permanent server how can we guarantee PHer access yet still allow randoms on for slaughter/making up numbers?

I really don't know, but I am quite exited at being able to create custom game modes (knife only sessions would be fun, as would big ticket large map conquest games....)

Im having a really hard time getting good games when I log in. There also seems to be a lot less people playing this now. Would a server get the PS3 guys on together more often?

Is hope so, having a dedicated lobby for us to congregate in, with game modes and setup that we all enjoy....
