F Type Coupe release date?

Subject to my test drive (soon?) I really want this car. However, like many people, I prefer coupes to soft tops.

So, why on earth did Jaguar defy the norm and launch the rag top first? and when can we expect a coupe version?

Anybody here work for Jaguar?!

Don't think you will get a definate answer until it's 'official' from Jag themselves.

If past history is anything to go by, I would guess either Sept ' 13 build onwards or Mar '14.

Jaguar have said that they needed to do the convertible first because its easier to engineer the coupe.

HA Fox - Southampton called me today. They are expecting their F Type demo car in early April and they anticipate Jaguar confirming the coupe version then, September this year possibly or March next year.

No news on coupe pricing yet either, I did spec a convertible V8S and it came to 94k! Nothing seems to come as standard which is annoying when my XKR had everything as standard pretty much.

I hope it is a September release as I want to change from my XKR then. If its not coming until March then I think I might get a used DBS for now
