A snap of my small collection
And some close-ups of my favourite models. The Zonda is a masterpiece, AutoArt were at the top of their game with this one. The Tecnomodel Aston is a 'plain-body' version of the Zagato race car, I think its very rare, I've never seen another for sale. And the LookSmart F50 is my latest purchase. Unlike most, I'm not too bothered about diecast being slowly phased out, for me the proportions and quality of the paint is far more important, and these resin models deliver on that front.

Anyone on here display models in their garage? I am running out of space in the house, so considering a cheap Ikea cabinet to house a few in the garage (unheated and detached). Just wondering if they will fare ok or if I'm asking for trouble with paint and chrome?
Not quite the same, but mine live in my loft - No issues after 10 years in some cases.M

where do most people buy models from?
especially motorsport like the group b cars
eBay is generally best - just be wary of buyers and check their feedback. I have issues with around 1 in 4 models bought from individuals - much better with businesses. Also, Toy Fairs can be good but it's a bit pot luck. The exchange rate has eroded the benefit of buying abroad but it can still be very cost effective if buying a few, especially when there are promotions on.especially motorsport like the group b cars

I wasn't going to buy any more 1/18 because I'm running out of room to store them but I made an exception for this.

I like that a lot! Limited edition First of the V8 Interceptors made by Greenlight for Diecast Distributors Australia.
At present I only have the one model but it is related and the original is responsible for my love of V8s and cars in general.
