Hello all,

Noticed there's not been much discussion about carbon build-up and decoking methods recently.

I assume the problem hasn't gone away, so what's the current preferred method for removing carbon build-up on inlet valves and tracts? Is it still walnut shell blasting?

Got an R56 Cooper S that's suffering badly from build-up and needs attention, so would appreciate your thoughts.

Walnut shell blasting work's my Indie used baking soda to the same effect, coked up valves to squeeky clean in a couple of hour's.
