If you are after a highbrow thread, this isn't for you. But is there anything that you ever notice that on the face of it isn't that earthshattering but makes you smile internally because you had never noticed before.

Example one for me from last night..... It is impossible to whistle with your head under a running showerhead.

you can't lick your own elbow.

Sorry, seemed like the "done" fact on here now.

I notice how it appears that on the majority of occassions when I see a VW Golf or Passat, it is inevitably a 57, 08 or 58 registration. Was that a particularly good year for VW?

Not quite on topic but I noticed it and it looked 'kin silly to me.

An old dear on the train this morning had painted on a set of eyebrows (like women sometimes do).

In isolation, not so silly.

What was, was the fact that she still had her actual eyebrows, proper bushy ones about a centimetre above them.

Imagine this....

"Interesting" body facts:

Your foot is approximately the same size as the distance from your wrist to your elbow

Your height is approximately the same as the span of your outstretched arms finger to finger

Unless you're "powerfully built" then your neck is about half the circumference of your waist

We had a workplace accident the other day.

Someone fell down the stairs.

It was someone from the health & safety consultants we rent some office space out to.

It's not the sneezing whilst keeping your eyes open that's difficult, it's the pushing your eyeballs back in afterwards. smile
