This reminds me of the glory days of Team Fortress 2 during which I would, as a Pyro, use my axetinguisher as a guitar and celebrate on the corpse of my victim whilst wearing a traffic cone on my characters head.

Mmmf mfmfffff mffff!

“The psychological trauma was about equal,” she told the Guardian. “The shock I felt from real life groping versus that first virtual groping was about the same. You wonder what kind of person thinks it’s OK to do that and are disgusted that it happened to you.”
I'd have thought that if this really is the case these women should go to a doctor as they must have some kind of issue.

I'm not sure how old you are, but there's a good chance that I've been both creating and playing video games for longer than you've been alive. I think the whole tea-bagging thing is a bit pathetic, not any real problem, but childish in the extreme.

I have been known to. And claymores on flags usually piss people off too. And in the glory days of battlefield 2, filling up the entire mini-map with the enemy boat icon was considered a great achievement.

I used to play World of Warcraft (10-12 years ago) and camped an Alliance faction area called Duskwood to death, making leveling all but impossible there for Alliance lowbies as it was a PVP area, using an Undead Rogue called Dr Weetos jester

At least they are real.

The whole gaming internet forum thing seems to me like a bunch of lonely, slightly socially inept people interacting in the only way they are able to.

I appreciate there are many millions of people for whom this is a reality; some of whom are on this thread and I have no issue with that at all. I guess dunking your digital balls into the digital mouth of another player's avatar posting on threads about things you don't like or understand is a way of bonding for the socially awkward.

For me, I prefer to meet real people in the real world.

Ho hum. Each to their own,

You've thought about the testicles of men on the other side of the world way too much - perhaps you're looking into this too deeply?
haha... no, I haven't.
But I do feel an amount of pity for those that go to the effort of demonstrating homosexual behaviour via the medium of a playstation game in attempts to anger an opponent (as it seems that is the intended goal of the effort).

I've played online games on and off over the years but only when I've literally had nothing else to be doing. Most times I'm doing something with one of my cars. Trackdays, tinkering, weekend drives to a country restaurant etc. etc. I can say with absolute certainty that I've never been angered by loosing a life on a poxy online game to a 12 year old kid for example. Never.

So when I was on the "receiving end" (oo err) of a 'teabagging', I was just left with a sense of pity for the other gamer, who often got shot in the process of his demonstration of his erotic behaviour. Judging by your retort against my post, something you fully support. smile

Support it or not, who cares?....its only a poxy online game.

Just too much homoerotica. But if thats what you're into then okay, I'll just slowly exit this thread and leave you guys to it.
wink

smilesmile I just think this priceless quote from "daddy cool" sums it all up nicely, and you'll appreciate why I'm not going to waste anymore of my time in this thread.

Its clear you dont understand it.
If someone was sucking on my (virtual) nuts in game, it would suggest willing on their part.
The whole point is its against their will.

I have killed them.
I celebrate my kill by dipping my nuts in their face.
If someone is annoyed by this, then my satisfaction is greater.

Clear?
This may have to be saved for the wall of fame ?

Stuff
What im reading there is repeated assertions about the "gayness" of teabagging as a trolling method (its not about gayness, its one of the few options open) countered with all the manly non-gay things you do - like car stuff - to prove how you arent gay, no sirree, not me!

The lady doth protest too much, methinks.

In fairness, you are the one pretending to push your nuts in another man's mouth! rofl

O/T slightly, but given that kids play these things as well, do adult players simulate teabagging with their characters as well?

Everyone is liable to a 'bagging, regardless of age or gender, or whether you identify as an attack helicopter or whatever. Thats the great think about gaming. My nuts are colourblind.

For some people, winning is enough.
Others seem to feel the need to humiliate their defeated opponent by some bizarre homo-erotic behaviour copied from a wildlife documentary about chimpanzees.

Indeed. It's quite hilarious how some people are jumping on it as some sort of homo-erotic thing.
I spent much of the weekend in the garage doing "car stuff", after chainsawing up a load of wood, because man, raaaaar. But then I had a couple of hours in BF1 before bed. What does that mean? I'm so confused.

I thought the behaviour of the woman in question at the start of the thread was cringeworthy, but thats nothing compared to what's followed on this thread.

Which is what exactly?
All ive seen is people that dont play computer games (or claim to only occasionally play them when they arent driving their supercars or banging models or fighting bears) getting all salty because other people that do play them sometimes make their character crouch over the enemy's character in a well known, understood and accepted form of in-game hilarity to signify beating them.

Considering i find it funny in-game, you can imagine how funny im finding this discussion and gnashing of teeth from the members who dont see the hypocrisy of slating those who play computer games "online" through posts on an "online" forum.

That's how I read it. Overcompensating for the feeling of inadequacy because he's never 360 noscoped someone with a scout. I feel like finding him, killing him with a knife, then spraying a tag on his cold dead body. Bet he's the sort of nub that rescues the hostages, then just barrels back down the steps even though there's always someone behind the boxes on the right.
