Does any body else think it would be a good idea to make a 6C or something with the engine and gearbox from the Gulia Quadrifoglio. Put it in a beautiful 4C like body, rear drive, mid engined, 70k and Bobs your uncle you have a 911 rival from Alfa!

What do you think?

I think it would most likely result in the death of everyone who bought one,

not good for repeat business

Just what I say to the wifebiggrin

Would be a great car. I wonder what the weight penalty would be.

Put the boot in the front, also it can change size so it would be like a larger 4C, different lines a and creases etc

Every change outside what happens in the stock engine bay will make things more expensive though

Thinking about this made me sad we never got the Mito GTA with the 1750TBi lump frown

Would that engine be quite heavy and ruin the lightweight appeal of the car? I can imagine in days gone by it might have a small capacity but high-revving V6 onboard

The Lotus Exige went from 4 to 6 cylinders and it only improved it.

Having spent a good amount of time in a MiTo 135 in Veloce spec, they wouldn't have made a good GTA.

Alfa (and Fiat by proxy) seem to think that to make a car sporty you simply make the suspension intolerably, back-breakingly hard and that's it. The one I had access to tramlined everywhere.

Isn't the 4C already 1000kg, so the addition of a V6 plus lengthening etc make it heavier than an Exige S?

More powerful, also the 4C is a bridge between the Elise and Cayman so the 6C could be a exiege/911 inbetween...

A 4c at 70k would be too dear for most. Much better built stuff for 70k
