In a pile on my desk I just noticed Vol 1 No.1 edition of Motor Trend from 1949

Great advert, but when I was looking to replace my MK2 Escort RS2000 in 1984 there weren't many used ones about.

So I got a 1982 2.8 Injection Capri for 5 Grand - and according to Autocar it was 7.9 seconds from 0-60!

Fantastic car at the time!
