I've just been watching XJS vids on youtube, it's not helping!

Love the Escort ads, they brought back memories of two of my Aunts who had them in the '70s. Not sure about the exact model or spec but Auntie Joan had a silver Mk1 four door with a black vinyl roof, lots of chrome trim and a pair of rectangular 'Lucas 8' spots on the front, pretty sure it was an L reg' job. Auntie Alice on the other hand had a base model one in Panda Car blue with no adornments whatsoever, possibly on a J or K plate.

Off to 'carandclassic.com' now to peruse '70s Fords...
