UPVC patio door cost?
Discussion
I need to replace my sliding patio door as I'm getting my place ready to let out. Measurements are 2370 wide, 2080 high. I have already got 5 quotes that are varying wildly.
What should I be looking to pay for something that isn't 'top notch' but is functional and won't give me any calls from prospective tenants saying they can see daylight through the perimeter...
Cheers all

We got uPVC French doors like this fitted last year, to replace a garage door:
Similar size of opening to yours, with two side panels with hopper windows at the top and laminated glass (more expensive than toughened/safety glass). Total was about £1,200 supplied and fitted by a decent medium-sized local company (in Glasgow so no use to you). Other quotes ranged from £1,000 to £3,000 for the same thing.
Without the hoppers or laminated glass it would have been a couple of hundred cheaper IIRC.

I'm looking at replacing my similar sized patio doors with french doors, i'm in the midlands and quotes have been from £900 to £2700, notable difference being size of company quoting, local smaller ones being the cheapest, decided to leave for a few months as my neighbor kindly informed me there is no lintel there as previous owner had exchanged window for larger patio doors, knowing my luck the back of the house will fall down when they get removed.

We had a pair like the ones pictured, but without the top side panel, £900 fitted - local Yorkshire company.Similar size of opening to yours, with two side panels with hopper windows at the top and laminated glass (more expensive than toughened/safety glass).
