Hey Folks,

I've got a green V12V (Almond Green) and I quite fancy having the calipers painted yellow. Does anyone have this combo and would you mind sharing a pic? If not - anyone willing to knock up a quick render please?

Cheers,

Chris.

Somebody could cut and paste this caliper into the above rendition for added realism.

I would, but you do know what colour yellow is right? Looks like you forgot to add a primary colour wink

This. My grey one is Mercury Silver and it looks like it has a slight hint of green in certain light. It's usually unnoticeable and rare to see it come through, though.

Speed Yellow in front, California Sage in the middle, and Mercury Silver in the rear:

Have a google for one of the new V12VS in Alloro with the optional Sport Pack Plus and decals - that comes with Yellow calipers too. Alloro or roughly similar to Almond so I think you will get a good idea.

In fact there is a sold one on PH classifieds., and there are a also couple of Alloro Green N430's up for sale on the main AM used website which also have yellow brakes and decals.

Personally I really like it, so I'd say go for it!

We of course all have differing tastes, but for me, an Aston Martin does not need 'tarting up' to make it a beautiful car.
I think there is an expression, 'Sometimes less is more'.

However, some might say why stop there with the yellow paint.
Perhaps do the sills in yellow as well. smile
Anyone ready with Photoshop, to show us what that looks like?

I think your fantastic Almond Green doesn't need any other 'halo' accent, it looks unique as it is imho.
Having said that I'm really happy with mine against Onyx Black plus yellow stitching on the lightweights.
We have the same alloys so I'm sure some creative spark can photoshop Almond so you can get a better idea.

Here's my Hardly Green V8VR with yellow calipers:

The rear handbrake caliper has since been returned to black.

which green is this car ? It's so hard to tell one Aston green from another, especially as they are so light dependent in photos

Almond - same as mine. When the light is on it - it looks very bright. In the shade, it really darkens up.

Wow, it really does get a lot darker in the shade - thanks for the clarification I'd never have guessed it was almond
