I have been looking for a neat solution for lifting the Griff quickly and easily in a single garage. This is currently the front running solution from quickjack.

Does anyone have any experience of using them or see any issues for use with a TVR?

Hi,
I've also been looking at the Quickjack but I don't think they fit. The BL-3500 seems too short and the BL-5000 too long:-

BL-3500: Frame length; 62" / 1575 mm with a maximum lifting spread of 50.5" / 1283 mm. This is too short to reach the outrigger corners on a Chim and Tuscan.

BL-5000: Frame length; 72.5" / 1841 mm with a maximum lifting spread of 60" / 1524 mm. The frame length is too long for the wheelbase. When I measured the length;1841 mm the tape measure is touching the tires.

Be happy for someone to disagree with my measurements, because I do like the portability, price not so much

Pac1uk, I think you are right. Also the lifting height is just 470mm which is not very high at all. I am now tempted to buy a scissor lift with lift height of 1m. Cost almost twice as much but will do the job properly.

Looking at http://www.automotechservices.co.uk/products/as-75... for a few quid more. I like the idea of not having the connection bars in the way while working and also I guess you could push them together when not in use avoiding need to drive over them.

Now if you could link 4 together somehow and have 1 point of raising lowering....

Currently got my car sat on fully extended 2 ton stands... Not happy about being under there, and it could do with being higher...

I don't do enough to warrant a grand on a lifting rig, drive on ramps are the work of the devil, unless they're full length ones but then there's to storage when not using them...

just saw the quick jack online and was also considering it.

Also came across this home made version being used on a Tamora

From the camera angle it's not clear but it looks like the rear plates do not go on outrigger corner.( the lifting arc is a restriction here). If he lifts on the unsupported side tubes they will bend.
