Don't misunderstand me, I don't like Trump, however he went form a joke 24 months before the elections to winning it and defeating the "establishment". he is far from a genius (or even clever.....) but he must have done some things right.
According to the book, it all went WRONG for Trump - not right. He never wanted to be President and it has backfired bigly.

I'm sorry but with this and the other latest tweet, the blokes clearly gone completely hatstand. This needs to end. Now.

The Wolff book is almost all gossip and tittle-tattle. It's not a serious book. It is like Woman's Own for the political bubble. When your best headline is that someone eats a cheeseburger in bed, you know there is little proper substance in there. Trump shouldn't really have dignified the book by trying to ban it.
I think I've found your Youtube channel

Thing is, his followers will now just think - ‘see, he is a genius! He just said so!’

Vital question:

Why does he do his own tweets???

Why isn’t someone acting as spokesperson, if the tweets were in third person they aren’t quite so damaging. Surely as POTUS there are staff to to this or censor it, or if it comes to it disconnect his internet to stop it completely?

All staff will be well aware of the laughing stock he’s become and must wince at these idiotic deluded tweets. Yet no one stops it.

Maybe they’re hoping the longer it goes on for the more likely he’ll implode and they can get a proper Boss.

Because it's vital for his supporters to see that El Presidente is avoiding fake news sad media, and that he cares directly for the, in-bannon-speak, deplorables.

Most of his core supporters will support him no-matter-what. Have a look at current Breitbart comments. Until yesterday they were worshipping Bannon, now they are asking for his head. Don't underestimate powers of willing self-delusion in pursuit of idolizing your chosen deity.

Lincoln after Gettysburg

"The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far above our poor power to add or detract. The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here"

Trump after a book was brought out

"Being, like, really smart"

The first time? What about his failed attempt to become president back in 2000?

Maybe. So he got elected to the (arguably) most powerful position in the world without even trying......

I think he's a very insecure egomaniac but he must have something to get voted in (even if by accident)

Because he wants to do it this way. He wants to talk directly to "his people" and he believes he can do this in a more meaningful way by bypassing traditional outlets - such as press conferences, TV interviews etc. Ironically, in the current curcumstances, a lot of this stems from the influence of Bannon.

In some ways, Trump is a bit like Adoph Hitler or even Franklin Roosevelt, who were aware that the new media of their era i.e. the radio and cinema newsreel, allowed leaders to talk directly to "the people" without it being fed through and filtered by what was the then "mainstream media" i.e. the newspapers.

The difference is that Hitler (for all his obvious faults) was extremely charismatic and a powerful; orator - which came across really well on newsreels and the radio,. Roosevelt was a fatherly figure and his radio "fireside chats" were much loved by the American population - especially during the hard days of the Great Depression.

Trump is an idiot, illiterate and inarticulate - so his attempt to use the current "new media" just makes him look and sound even more idiotic and inarticulate.

Seems he made a few tries over the years. Big fib in recent tweets then.

I hate to be the one to interrupt your group therapy session, but for supposedly intelligent chaps you lot seem easily distracted.

While his supporters are laughing at his latest Twitter antics, your camp is lapping it up as gospel in true Machiavellian fashion. Underestimate the man at your own peril.

Who is underestimating him?

He's a fool.

He's an idiot?

He has as much understanding as a sack of potatoes.

But he's dangerous and in possibly the most powerful position any human can hold on this planet.

So no, I don't underestimate him at all. I know full well the utter disaster he may very well turn out to be. And not just for the USA but the whole of humanity.
