Door locks for 1988 TVR Tasmin 280i

I have a 1988 TVR Tasmin 280i. When I bought it here was no key with the passenger side door lock. Its not a problem but I would like to replace the lock. I understand TVR's of this period used Ford (possibly Capri or Cortina) locks. Anybody know exactly which lock I should try and find? Thanks

Hi, there is the PstonHeads Wedge forum plus two Facebook Wedge forums, all of which are brilliant for technical advice. Early locks and handles are Ford Capri items. There is a TVR specialist that can modify existing barrels to suit existing or new keys but I don't think we can advertise here on PH. Get yourself on to the Facebook Wedge forums as there is no restriction regarding recommending suppliers etc. Cheers.
