I’m looking to get a Griff sometime early April as I’m overseas at the moment. I’ve been following the prices for a while now and they seem to be still on the up with some very high prices being asked.....but are they selling?? I’ve read a lot about another potential financial crash due to people defaulting on car PCP payments. I wonder what effect this will have on Classic car prices if this does come to fruition??
It depends on which car at which price... but generally the market seems to be working at current values, after all these cars are not that rare so basic rules of economics will drive the price. Thats not to say there isnt some overprices cars out there but having just bought one (looked at several) Id say that in the bottom (low 20's) / mid market (mid 20's) they are selling. Top end cars that you would drive i.e. 30k ish I cant comment on personally but it makes sense that they work for the right buyer.
The good news is it isnt dead money, no crystal ball but its hard to see them losing money even with a few fair sized bills.
