Morning All

Mrs is toying with the idea of selling hampers online featuring products made in Hampshire. I've been tasked with sourcing hamper suppliers and shredded paper suppliers. I've found hampers and shredded paper on Gadsby but wondered if anyone knows of any other wholesalers even if abroad that may be cheaper?

If its just a trial I'd keep it simple in terms of suppliers and see if it works first. Even if margins are small you'll test the concept first, including how to sell/where to sell.

That's the plan. Looking at selling 3 types for now. 1 for girls, 1 for guys and 1 general one. Thinking 10 of each as a trial.

The pricing isn't bad although I notice they're not adding VAT and their carton sizes (1/8/24) aren't a great fit for the quantity you need.

I've used Virginia Hayward for the last few Christmases (https://www.virginiahayward.com/hamper-range/empty-hampers-baskets) they are really decent quality and come in decent sturdy boxes which are handy to re-use for sending the hampers on once filled, though price wise they are not the cheapest.

I assume these will be food hampers? If so, I wonder if you need any kind of license for selling food. Given all the press at the moment around ingredients you'll also need to tread carefully in this area, likely require liabilty insurance.

I've no idea though, but best of luck!
