2009 Nissan Qashqai ground issues

My wife's Qashqai is exhibiting typical poor earth symptoms on the drivers side rear lamp. If I indicate whilst braking the right hand indicator starts flashing really fast and the brake/rear light starts pulsing too. I have changed the bulbs thinking they might be the issue and swapped the bulb holders round with the other side and it's made no difference.

I need to find out where the earth point is for the right side rear lamp and I have found this diagram which looks like the ground point is on the B pillar somewhere (B33)? Can someone confirm?

Had the connectors had gone on my Saab causing the same symptoms, the pins were cheap GM quality. I run a wire from rear light cluster to an appropriate earthing point.

That was my alternative option if I am unable to find the earth point.
