As it says on the tin. What FWD car would you turn into a RWD one if you could? Money no object, everything else about the car stays the same.

I thought my dad's old Volvo V60 D5 would be good. It had lots of torque and a decent chassis, but seemed to fritter the power away through the front. Always thought it was a shame. Good car though!!

What's yours?

I always thought the Saab 9000 would have been much better as rwd. I suppose maybe the 95, but have never driven one of those.

a mate of mine had a rwd minivan

the V8 and transaxle in the back looked like he was delivering it,

no room to actually carry anything

Any idea what engines then usually went into them - Cosworth YB?

My old V70, the first front wheel drive Volvo I've owned. Which is why I changed to Mercedes.

SAAB 900 would have been great as a RWD.

You could certainly do that Leins - at least one has been done.

Or a Vauxhall V6

Fiat Coupe

Any Alfa bar the 4C/8C/Guila

Disagree on the Integra, I feel the FWD is part of its character. It gives it an unflappable sort of handling. With RWD, you would have to be more careful and it just wouldn't suit the frantic nature of the car, IMO.
