Just thought of another for me and it’s a bit left field/specific. PGR2 St Basils circle and the Koenigsegg CC. This was the time online racing kicked off for me.

Many a night I’d stay up far too late playing this game online.

I knew the Likes Peak Suzuki would have been mentioned!

I seem to remember in GT4 there was a Toyota rally raid car that was a prize on the Capri rally course that was pretty decent (and easy to win over and over and sell for big cash!)

I remember the original Need for Speed game. The Supra was pretty decent but there was a fictional bonus car called the Warrior or something which just monstered everything else because it was so quick, and sounded electric too.

TOCA 2 was always brilliant, but I used to love driving the MG on TOCA Race Driver on PS2. It was from the first era of touring cars i ever actually spectated at in person so holds a soft spot for me. Though i revisited the game the other day and everything handles like a brick in water so it's definately through rose tinted glasses!!

Thought I'd show a bit more love for Driver as well, such great memories, back when games were actually hard to complete and felt like an accomplishment. Once you'd finally managed to get out of that bloody garage, the world really was your oyster

I played through it on my mobile a couple years back. I managed the carpark fine but the missions were a struggle.

Back in the day I barely remember the missions, I was pretty young so probably wasn't very good. I'm sure I used to just enter a cheat to allow free roam and unlock all the maps and I'd just roam around, great fun.
