There's more....

Is that an actual Rolls Royce ?
It appears to resemble one of those Chrysler thingies, which everyone tries to resemble as a Bentley.
Remarkable reverse logic.

Surely one of our powerfully built ones is up for this? Then we can add "brawling in the street - definitely council."

SD.
May I ask a question? Maybe stupid? Where does the powerfully built term originate on here.

I’ve seen it quoted often, always makes me snigger..

I thought it was a Chrysler but I'm not up on modern Rolls Royce styles, plus I'm on a phone. The back doors look to be reversed opening,so maybe it is a RR,the wind deflector on the front window seem at odds

In posts on here, many Phers only ever win confrontations and with ease.

It's because they have been lifting in the gym for years (i.e. powerfully built) and intimidate and dominate. And in the event of a fight, they also are experts in martial arts.

And then you see pictures of PH meets, and they are all ordinary looking/fat old men.

I knew, I just KNEW, it had to start from a thread at sometime.

Thanks for digging it out for me. I’ve read the first paragraph, and note it became a locked
thread. So it must be a cracker.

Cue more chortling and giggling when I read it later roflbeer

'Powerfully company director' equates to big fat, gauche, lower-class 'done good'. Think forty-something plumber in a Mitsubishi Warrior and lots of tattoos.

Paul Scholes likes to chew his 20 year old daughters toe nails.

Heading the ball too many times clearly does damage the brain.

Saw an advert on Facebook Marketplace titled 'Arrive in style', advertising the use of a Rolls Royce.

Photos include steel chavs in the background..

Here's another member who likes to dominate, but he did make a great thread about being in hotel quarantine, and an unhappy experience with the food they sent to his room.....

Ok
It turned up and it looked disgusting and I’m afraid to say I kicked off.

I opened the door and threw the spaghetti and veg curry on the floor then told security if I didn’t get a proper meal I’d go to the kitchen myself.

It didn’t go well.

The security manager came and a couple of XL size goons but I dominated them as I’m XXL. They said I’d already been aggressive (I don’t think I was but I am loud I know) and said what I’d had was standard.

My other favourite is how everyone says they live in "a village" - there was one the other day who was saying that a Tesco express and a mini Sainsburys or some such were in his "village". Sorry - that's not a village. To me a village is a small place, might have (less likely these days) a post offiice, a couple of pubs, ivy covered cottages etc etc - you get the picture. It does not have a fking massive, ghastly "executive" housing estate the size of a small town.

Yet when I see places most PHers live they actually appear to live on, er, new build estates, with inadequate parking (see the numerous parking dispute threads), overlooked back gardens etc etc. They don't appear to be "villages" to me. They're not "powerfully built directors", just normal people in normal houses for the most part.

So "villages". That's my irk rofl

Crikey! Is that really a decade ago yikes I could have sworn it was about 2018 or so. That's actually depressing - where has my life gone!?

Back on topic - that blue convertible Bentley thing - that's just ghastly and to be honest looks to be at home in those surroundings. I know they cost huge sums of money and I couldn't afford one (although if I had billions I wouldn't) but in the UK I just think they look ridiculous and, in a way, cheap. They're what a lottery winner would buy if they were a bit thick. They're so bling and ostentatious they look ridiculous - however I don't think they're made for the UK customer anymore - I suspect the far and middle-east is where the target market is, hence the over the top design. Over here - very, very council. I don't think there's a vehicle I would be more embarrassed to be seen driving - is it just me?

I agree, but for some reason I don't class the Bentley Continental in this same council category. The RR suits someone who lives that traditional elegant lifestyle, or business exec, not some online influencer who starts each video with "Whats up Youtube.."
