Such a great bit of design.

Nice choice of filling station too, those angled pumps really make for an excellent forecourt shot.

Some proper buying going on here. Well done all.

I've never had anything from Greggs.

Cheers for that recommendation 0a, I'm in-between Nottingham and Loughborough and on my first Mercedes, I'll check them out.

We've seen some really good buys at the back end of the last volume and beginning of this. Nice work chaps.

Really struggling to find value at the moment...I am bouncing between intergalactic mileage v8's, extremely obscure Japanese imports and Saab's... What is wrong with this other than the lack of sat nav?!

W210 E55. High miles but not silver and appears lacking in the usual rust…

Wow, congratulations.

First time I have seen a photo of one of these that actually makes me want one.

Ride quality; in that respect, a barge it isn't.

Be warned - they have a waiting time of about 3 weeks at the moment. I suppose a good sign in a way.

Liking the SV8. How well does it go?!

Congratulations BenB91.

Coincidently the last XF purchase reported in Aug 2020 was also an SV8

Back home now. M25 is carnage today. Thanks for all the positive comments.

What a great car! Comfortable and so quick! Not a single creak in the cabin and feels solid. Almost 14 years old but only 58k miles.

93 mile trip. Average of 25mpg with an average speed of 46mph. Could have easily got over over 30mpg if I tried but I really pushed it over the last 20 miles home.

Garage picture below. 2 V8s with a joint 716bhp.

If anyone fancies a trip to Italy they could scoop the RHD 940 at a bargain price. Some murder stains in the boot but, you know…

If you really love Volvo you might even get this closer to home and bag the pair for less than thread max! C70 T5 SE Lux - £3,695:

That looks decent, and not totally stupidly priced either.
