Nice comprehensive short article.

(Just one little error:

in essence the 968CS is a facelift model 944 with the MO30 sport option.

The M030 was offered as an option on the CS; it was not a standard fitment

Also the 944 Turbo was still for sale in 1991, maybe not in the UK though...)

It's nice to see someone being positive about the 944S too. Makes a change from the it normally receives.

No I will not be going down to it. Hoping to make a meet in the near future though.

Glad you read it so well Thom, but I don't think I've made an error, other than perhaps gramatically it wasnt too clear.

Perhaps it should have read- "in essence the 968CS is a facelift model 944, with the MO30 kit as an option"

Anyway at least a few PHers agree that there is lots of fun to be had at the bacon sandwich & a can of coke end of the Porker market, as well as at the full roast pork dinner with all the trimmings and a nice bottle of Bollinger end

AJ i think Domster has a point about these amazing M6.

They are also especially good with bends at speed as if they don't get round they are heavy enough to go straight on,as if the bend wasn't even there!

Oi Domster get ya self over to the BMW forum you defector!! selling a 964RS is a crime only excused by then getting a 993RS or a GT3. Although I do agree you should have to suffer the penance of driving a BMW for selling Pork it doesnt mean we just have to lie back & take it, oh no!!

I mean selling a 'proper' sports car to get a BMW and a bigger house, and also now being a web forum moderator who has already been telling people off! oh dear oh dear its a slippery path Dom, you will be smoking a pipe reminising about when you were a lad and saying the speed limits are too high next

As much as I love the 964RS, you can only make a 911 *so* light and *so* powerful.

Go the way of Gemballa, and you'll have spent the price of a two bed flat on something that will still be eaten by an Ultima on track.

So the solution is... buy an Ultima. At least Guy won't then be able to out-accelerate me or out-corner me on our little jaunts, assuming the weather is dry and there are no hedgerows in sight

The BMW will merely be my 'sensible' car, and if I could find a tartan rug in M colours, I would have one on the back seat.

As for the house, well, needs must. The fact it has an oversized garage perfect for Ultima construction had nothing to do with the decision to buy it...

And as for being a moderator, that simply means I can keep your posts in check, and make sure that no one disrepects the lithe, powerful supercar coupe that is the M635 CSi

Bullsh*t

Try a REAL 944 Turbo Cup. You will be ashamed to own a 964RS after this.

I can't read that site its all in garlic munchers wordage.

We are not in the euro so I thus equate that to the fact I need to know no other language than good old Anglo Saxon oh and don't drink coffee either, its just another government plot for us to feel more at home intergrating with those pesky euro lot, Tea is what you need, if its good enough for Winston Churchill its good enough for me

Anyway is it just me or was Doms reply just far too grown up?? I think he was wearing comfy carpet slippers when he wrote it
