i have just purchased a tuscan and i have fault code "c" showing on the diagnostic's on start up, i'm aware through searching this site that its something to do with water level sensor?, how can i fix this myself? any ideas also i have fault code "o" showing, all seems well and the car runs perfect would like to sort these out myself if possible. any help would be appreciated cheers.

Tuscan Dashboard Diagnostic Codes
A - Speedo not activating zero switch/switch failed/open circuit

B - Speedo not releasing zero switch/switch failed/short to earth

C - Water not activating zero switch/switch failed/open circuit

D - Water not releasing zero switch/switch failed/short to earth

E - Fuel not activating zero switch/switch failed/open circuit

F - Fuel not releasing zero switch/switch failed/short to earth

G - Water temperature sensor input open circuit

H - Air temperature sensor input open circuit

I - Oil temperature sensor input open circuit

J - Oil pressure sensor input open circuit

K - Fuel level sensor input open circuit

L - Erratic road speed signal input

M

N

O - No communication between analogue and control up

My Tuscan has the same problem. I was told it was caused by a fault with the micro switch on the temperature gauge. Having found out it was nothing serious and was tricky to get at I have decided to wait until the next service to fix.

I have had various codes, mainly E, K and L come up at different times since owning the car, dont tend to worry about them, usually they go away so I just leave alone till next service
