Some tt from evilzone.org has hacked the singletrack website and lifted all of your usernames, email addresses and passwords, in total 31K people. If you use the same password for both your email address and Singletrack; CHANGE IT!!

and are they pro or agin hackers? it's confusing.

on the one hand, the hacking guy got a lot of support initially, then all of a sudden everyone said he was evil- and it isnt clear as to whether that's good or not- then he got banned, then everyone loved him again.

Im totally lost.

I know nothing about hackers but these guys seem like a bunch of losers, exploiting something that must be relatively easy (judging by the intelligence they display) trying to conform to a skewed "community" which actions are led by bizarre and inconsistent reasoning.

so, theyre all hackers there? if so, why do they slate the guy for hacking? I dont get it. perhaps I should quit my plans to become them.

I think that the post from singletrackworld guy made some of them realise that it isn't the faceless number game they think it is, but then most of those that slated the guy seem to change their tune when the established members support the original act. If it got them enough attention, they'd probably take both sides at once.

i genuinely thought that the hacker responsible would get the message when a fellow hacker realised that he had affected some peoples ability to generate an income but then the other morons came on the forum with childish messages of congratulations to the original hacker... what a bunch of pricks. why do they take the moral high ground and say that they are doing websites a favour? bunch of utter pricks...

This is what happens when you allow children to have unrestricted access to the internet. Children is what they all are.

It would be quite funny though to see some of those idiots faced with a couple of blokes in a dark alley. I'd enjoy watching them squirm.

I'd do it just to highlight their poor defensive abilities.

You can see peer-pressure clear as day in that thread. Some of them appear to think it's 'just a game' and that they should have zero consideration for the consequences of their actions - as if it's the fault of the site owner that they fked it all up.

It's the online equivalent of someone breaking into your house because you left a small window unlatched, stting all over the place, stealing your things and then getting you fired all in one go. They're immature idiots who'll be sad and lonely most of their lives. They're desperate for respect and seem to find validation in the destruction of other peoples' property (and sources of income).

As mentioned, I'd love to see them in a dark alley one evening - see how fking tough they are then, eh? laugh

s, the lot of them.

We have got the little fker!!

His name, address, photographs, his school, his friends (who also share the same past time),

Chasing him all over the web as he tries to delete the trail. He is also responsible for breaking into NHS websites amongst others. Police should follow shortly.

oh yes, Norwich, if you check the stw blog (just use the normal site link), you can see the whole thing. I am going to leave it a couple of days to see if the police are informed, if they are not then i will collect the info and do it myself. I want blood right now. It is almost certain that someone will have there details (CC and the like) stolen and used as a result of this.
