Does anyone know where I can get the 3 pin circular connectors used for the lambda sensors from? I want to make a breakout box to allow me to connect a crude mixture gauge up.
i have tried all the usual sources such as polevolt & VWP but without any joy.
Thanks Andy

Ive spent some time trying to get hold of new connectors for the same reason, but have drawn a complete blank. You can still get the extension looms TVR use with new connectors at each end, but they are bit expensive expensive to butcher at £27 each. Racing green do them, part number TVR M0457. The origional connectors are made by Amphenol (Amp) but they make thousands of connectors, and Ive not managed to find any through car connector suppliers. I did manage to get some second hand plugs, but the sockets are part of the loom so not so easy to get. They are fitted to pre catalyst cars and not used, so you might fine someone who would cut them off for you. Otherwise simply soldered extra wires into the loom with spade connectors for test points.

Thanks for the info, after some extensive searching I have found the relevant part numbers, I have shown them below just in case it is of interest to anyone some day!

ECONOSEAL-J CONN PLUG 3P part no 172201-1
Econoseal J Series Cap housing part no 172202-1
172203-1 Rubber seal
170280-1 contact pin
170295-1 contact pin

This info came from the Tyco electronics web site as they now own the AMP brand, amazingly the site is showing that 2 UK distributors hold stock for these parts, I have emailed them both, but will see what happens, experience usually shows they only want to supply in multiples of 100..

I have had a reply from one of the distributors of these parts, good news is that both housings are in stock at about 60p & 80p each, bad news is that the crimps pins are on 12 week lead time with a MOQ of 12000!
I have asked very nicely if they could let me have a couple of hundred.
will keep you posted.

Im sure you could find some plugs and sockets off another plug type to fit the bodies if needs be.
