SCOOP: TVR Sagaris

First photos and video of the new monster from TVR

The first rule of attending a motor show is to have a nosey about in the car park first. Today at MPH'03 we grabbed our first pictures of the new Sagaris before it was whisked into Earls Court for the first show of the day.

It comes with vents galore, plenty of carbon fibre on the inside and a 400bhp version of TVR's straight six. Price will be a smidgen under £50K.

Completely over the top...I will have one in black please.

I think the whole point is that it is completely over the top. Some people are suggesting that it should loose some vents here, a wing there and so on, but it end up looking even more like a tarted up TVR. This is the right thing to do, go all the way. There are plenty of TVR's that look great as they are, why should there not be one that is completely over the top.

Each vent/grille/spoiler on its own is OK but the whole lot together looks like the car has been handed over to an over excited 14 year old who has just read his first copy of Max Muppet.
That rear spoiler would last about 2 minutes if you parked in my town. Oooh look a c-thru spoiler.....snap.

Of course it will look fantastic in it's right environment, which is on the track! For the road I'll stick with a T350c. Rich...

Burnin'! This is one hell of a mean evil machine!
, all in one machine!

TVR has done it again! Not really my taste at first, but pretty sure this thing will drive and it definitely is in the line with other TVR's!

No more words to spill, would be a waste. Still a little dizzy from viewing these pics. Can't wait to see it in real!

Scoops, vents and cut outs inspired by 'Batman' it seems..

Love it!
Shame about the name. Everyone who wants to take the piss (which doesn't include me) will nickname it 'Saggyarse'. 'til it smokes 'em
