Anyone seen this yet?

Basically a 1st year female employee at Deloitte has sent an email around her department to determine which awards should be handed out to the boys for stuff such as ‘hottest boy – body’ and ‘most likely to sleep their way to the top’.

It’s quite funny as it’s really gone global in less than 2 days...

Scary to think that something like that can happen, feel quite sorry for the girl really!

Subject: Deloitte First year analysts Christmas Awards biggrin

So girls....

It’s been nearly 4 months at Deloitte so I think we should have some sort of Xmas awards ceremony for us ladies about the stuff that really matters at work i.e. gossip/ the boys! This probably massively violates the HR equal opportunities policy, but never mind! It’s all for fun and a bit of a laugh.

Ok, so the categories are below, please get your votes in asap, I’ll send out the results on Friday 18th Dec (that is all I will be doing that day as I will be SO hungover from the ball!) Any comments as to why you’ve picked a certain person that are particularly good/hilarious can be included, anonymously, of course wink
1.) Fittest boy – looks
2.) Fittest boy – body
3.) Best dressed boy
4.) Boy most likely to sleep his way to the top
5.) Best piece of gossip you’ve heard so far this year
6.) Most attractive “older” member of staff (i.e above analyst grade)
7.) Boy with the best personality
8.) Most hilarious/embarrassing moment a girl has had
9.) The official Deloitte First-year Analyst Girls “Man of the year”

Enjoy thinking about it!
Much love to all

This email forwarded to the whole of Deloitte, KPMG, PwC etc (the email is about 5ft long!) with various sarcastic comments along the way. She only sent it yesterday afternoon! She must be mortified.

Wonder if she'll have a job on 18th Dec?

Any chance we can get her to DDs?

No, just trying to be funny and failing. I would be interested to see the longer email. I enjoy a good viral gaff.

I particularly hate the fact that Deloitte are doing so well they're having a fking ball to celebrate!

I'm as much a capitalist pig as the next chap, but these people make me spit! (using my Mums special cuss there, so it MUST be bad!)

You have to marvel at how thick some people are - she even recognises that is breaches HR policy.

We had a very similar thing come round the last big corporate company I worked for (but it was about the girls) but what saved many people's skins was that one of the main board directors thought it was fun and added his own comments about the girls.

The best bit was that some of the girls who featured but didn't rate near the top immediately set about improving themselves. So it was a useful exercise. smile

Seems ok to me.

PLCs and corporates are willing to spend thousands on team bonding days. But the kind of stuff that really helps break down barriers between people is stuff like this email and it is free.

Nothing particularly wrong with the email, nothing personal in it.

If you google "Deloitte First year analysts Christmas Awards", PH is top of the list.

No other references to this yet in google.

I don't really see what is so bad with the email.

This stuff just gets discussed at the water cooler or friday night in the bar anyway.
