I just got a new camera today, i've never had/used a DSLR before so i went out and took a few pictures of the car.. I thought I might as well post them up while I have them:

It's not a bad first car.. 130bhp diesel, plenty of torque (albeit a bit laggy). Good enough to drive with the TTE Suspension.

The car isn't in the next two, but I thought id' post them up anyway:

Would love something a little quicker for the summer!

Fantastic first car! Is it some kind of sport version or something because it looks better than Auris' that I've seen before?

It's the regular Auris TR, but I got a few bits from the sporty Auris.. The Alloys, Springs, and rear bumper garnish...

I like this one, would be better if the telegraph pole wasn't obscuring half of your (rather swish) car though!

Not bad at all. You really could do with a weekend toy to liven things up though (if funds permit to do so).

I've now got an Auris, a 1.6 T spirit MMT with the built in sat nav/phone thing. To be honest i'm not overly impressed with it, it's not a quality product, everything rattles and clunks. The ride and handling are below that of the Hyundai i30 it replaced, but i'm guessing yours has the independent rear suspension that mine lacks.

I've been yearning for some sort of toy for ages.. The funds aren't the problem, it's the insurance. I've considering buying a track car, a rally car, doing my bike test, buying a cheap hatch.. But the insurance always kills it in the end!

I bought a PH sticker... I'm not sure if it deserves one though.. whistle I'm in two minds wether to put it on or not.

I really like the look of the sporty Auris, it's ALMOST sexy.

Get that PH sticker on. It's not what you drive, it's how you drive it wink

Ha, I like how you think...

If I put it on and dont like it, are they handy enough to get off?

Should be, I peeled mine off my old Toledo easily enough. If they get stuck, just turn a hairdryer on them to heat the glue up.

What sort of mpg are you getting from this?
I've hired two of these, so done about 1000 miles in them. If i had the money, it would definitly be on my list to look at.

I pick up a petrol 1.8 on Tuesday for a work car.

At least I'm getting a manual this time and not an auto.

They can be hussled along nicely with some subtle suspension work.
