Porsche GT2 RS Sold Out

Now you'll just have to wait to get one from the PH classifieds...

Want one? Too late...
Want one? Too late...
Sold out. It's two words that anybody still hoping to get their hands on a new example Porsche's magnificent GT2 RS will not want to hear. But it's true - all 500 cars have found owners, less than two months after the car was first presented to the public at the Moscow motor show.

Our congratulations if you're one of the lucky ones who have managed to get your hands on the fastest 'street-legal' car Porsche has ever made - enjoy your 205mph, 612bhp and 0-186mph in 28.9secs-worth of Stuttgart goodness.

To those who have missed out (that's most of us, we imagine) - commiserations. But do have a peek at Porsche's promo video of the car, and of our own review of the GT2 RS, and 'take a look at what you could have won', as they say...

Wonder how many are in Moscow? Interesting that that was the release venue.

I swear I read a review many weeks ago that stated they'd all already sold out.

What an amazing machine.

They'll be on the PH Classified, £20k above list price!

Isn't putting all those %£&*" words in the advert a little bit base for Porsche?

I like the video. Porsche do seem to have a bit of a sense of humour after all. Who would have thunk it.

It sold out already?! I'm shocked. Not really - appeals to many with deep pockets.

Sold out? Hmm, so, what was that in OPC Hatfield on Saturday with "GT2RS" written on the side, "For sale" and some numbers north of, whatever, in the price?

Car was obviously new and unregistered, not a locked and 'sold' car, and, upon enquiry, available for purchase, sir. Having assumed that they were old sold, even those 'bought' by regulars who then 'pass' when they arrive (to be snaffled by the next regular on the OPC list etc, etc), I was quite surprised to see it being retailed.

Rather put off by the swathes of red alcantara inside, but still...

what a disappointing video.
clearly meant to appeal to the PS3 owning, Grand Turismo playing masses.
come on PH, you know what we want a video of... the car being ragged and most importantly no pissy music!

sold out but common, seen 2 already so much for rare.....lol. And one spent the day battling with a 599 Gto on the trackday i was on. GTO seemed to have it licked but may have been a better driver.

For a couple of hours I was actually having crazy thoughts of buying this car but I have no where safe to keep it. If I had my own garage I would sitting in it right now, awesome car.

It would actually be very interesting to find out which countries they went to because it would be a really good way of measuring the strength of their economies.

Sorry - I'm a techno, economic devt, business devt geek :-)
