I have just fitted a Seat Cupra R front splitter to the Mazda.
It cost me £26 from a Seat dealer, but the day after I ordered it the price went up another £10, so I was quite lucky. Still £36 is cheaper than the Laguna splitter.

It fits quite nicely, but some bits had to be cut off.

First you need to get rid of these, Hacksaw job.

Then you need to cut some off the ends because its too long for the bumper.

I cut about 8" off.

Then just bolt it on.

So what do you think?

Looks good, and you can't argue with £30!

It's a testament to the popularity of these now. When I first bought one for a mate to fit to his Mondeo ST200 I paid £16!!

Hmm I quite like it smile

Although you've just reminded me that I've still got a laguna splitter in the garage but it's been cut to my old 106, shall try it out on the Mx5 tomorrow!

Someone buy me one and I'll give it a go. How does that sound?

Ah hang on I see his point now, it may not fit yours; but mine has the OE sport front lip, which is flat at the bottom and not too curvy. smile

I have an OE front airdam/lip thingy, the bottom of it is flat. Your front bumper curves underneath, so there is little to mount it to. The actual radias that the OE front airdam leaves is well suited to the Cupra splitter, but I am not so sure the non-front airdam is.
