Dunlop Tyres have launched a new tyre specifically aimed at drivers of performance cars.
The SP Sport Maxx is available in sizes to suit some more extreme wheel/tyre combinations right down to 30 profile and up to 22 inches in diameter.
Dunlop's unique take on the tyre scene is what they call their Multi Tread Radius which is designed to ensure that "more of the tyre is in contact with more of the road more of the time.
" That bigger contact patch improves dry weather handling and helps when making the transition into cornering.
Taking its experience from German Touring Cars the boffins at Dunlop have come up with a compound that's designed to give a low rolling resistance yet helps with grip when accelerating or decelerating.
