There could be a wealth of GT racing in the UK this season, with
the Interactive Sportscar championship taking shape. A number of teams have
signed up to the series which should take in a number of tracks around the UK.
Negotiations are still underway but the series could well see some interesting
machinery including Corvettes, Listers, Esprits, Porsches, Saleens and Honda
NSXs.
The ISC has been set up with TV coverage are the core and will be be
broadcast using fifteen channels of live coverage to put the subscriber fully in
control from the comfort of home. For the first time the viewer will be able to
jump into any one of around sixty cameras covering the action, switch instantly
to one of the in-car cameras or to one of those positioned around and above the
track, or even take control of their own "virtual car".

Lister Storm Racing has already confirmed two entries on behalf of CSG
Motorsport. CSG Motorsport, a subsidiary of CSG Holdings, has taken over the Abt
entry for the ISC and will be fielding two Lister Storms.
Principle driver, Nigel Greensall, said "I am delighted to be leading
the CSG team, we are currently in final negotiations with all three other
drivers and the full team line up will be announced shortly. With the pedigree
of the cars combined with the drivers' abilities, we really are confident that
we will be a leading contender".

. Having won the FIA GT, British GT1 and GT2 we would like to add this one to
our records," commented a Lister spokesman.
