ASTON MARTIN VANTAGE (VH2) V8 2008

Here we have my 2008 Vantage 4.7 manual.

Before I became the owner its started life a standard V8V with sports pack in silver. It was always my goal and vision to turn it into what is now today. Just to be clear this has never been a write off or has finance!

The previous owner to me was an older guy, who in his ownership didn't use it all that much due to ill health.

So as soon as I became the owner it went straight into a specialist workshop to give it a full once over.

Everything that has been completed I have a full break down of, disk & pads included, with invoices which are available upon request.

I also have lots of previous paper work along with the owners manual with stamps, one key fob and one manual key.

I was told that the clutch was changed previously but unfortunately I do not have proof of this. This clutch to my knowledge feels fine and have no issues.

I have just had a general service completed, including oil and filter change, brake strip and check, as well as a full years MOT.

So the build...

This is a full re-spray not a wrap!

I have a full collection of images of the respray to document the the build.

The style which im sure you may have guessed is Gulf Livery.

The front end is a Maxon bumper, grill & splitter to emulate the Vantage v600

As you would expect for the milage there is the usual wear on the drivers seat and the Aston Martin push pen that comes with the car needs slotting back into place.

Things to note..

The tyre pressure monitor shows as fault on the dash purely due to the fact that the monitors stayed with the original alloys.

There is sometimes a squeaky belt on a cold day on start up.

The rear carbon diffusor does has a slight crack in it, of which I can send an image of.

I know it is said a lot but this car is a genuine head turner, attracts attention every time is it out! I will be sad to see it go but I have enjoyed various drive outs and my annual trips to 24 hours Le Mans but the time has now come for extra seats!

Although literally thousands have been spent of which I know I wont recoup, due to the millage I have made sure it is price reflected. I specifically bought the 4.7 manual as the residual value is considerably more than the 4.3 and sport shift.
