Used 2022 Maserati MC20 cars for sale

The MC20 marked Maserati’s return to a mid-engined supercar developed largely on its own terms. Beneath its clean, sleek bodywork sat a carbon-fibre tub engineered with Dallara and Maserati’s own 630hp Nettuno twin-turbo V6. The dry-sumped engine revved to 8,000rpm, giving the MC20 a distinctive powertrain of its own.

Its appeal went far beyond the spec sheet. Eager turn-in and a playful balance made the MC20 engaging without feeling clinically track-focused, while rear-wheel drive kept the layout relatively simple beside increasingly complex hybrid rivals. There were caveats, of course. Damp conditions and cold tyres required care, the standard iron brakes needed heat before delivering their best, and Maserati’s optimistic weight claim flattered the reality.

At £187,000 new, the MC20 faced strong competition from Ferrari, though four years of depreciation have made them a touch more attainable. And at today’s prices, its elegant design, carbon-fibre construction, characterful V6 and engaging chassis make a compelling case for itself. It’s a distinctive modern Maserati that’s now within reach of a much wider pool of buyers.
