Strangely I'd read, the man who appeared in court in Scotland for extradition proceedings was identified whilst in hospital by his tattoos matching those of the US fugitive.
Also Rossi had complained he had been tattooed whilst in a coma in hospital.

Now this journalist says he has no tattoos or scaring.
She explained that it's now possible for the tattoos to be removed without scarring etc. No idea how accurate this description is.

Agreed regarding the thoughts on Miranda. It was/is a very strange marriage

When his wife said he had never left the country...

You've only known him two years.

Is she for real?

Just caught an update on this chap.

''A US court has been told that DNA from a man extradited from Scotland matches material collected by police investigating an alleged rape in 2008.

Nicholas Rossi, who had faked his own death in the US, spent two years fighting attempts to have him sent to Utah to face rape charges.

Rossi, 37, claimed to authorities in Scotland that he was an Irish orphan called Arthur Knight and was the victim of mistaken identity.

Provo District Court in Utah heard on Tuesday that a sample of his DNA taken in the Utah County Jail in January matched the sample from 17 years ago.

Rossi was present in court for the hearing.

According to local news sources his defence gave his legal name as Arthur Knight, but agreed to him being called Nicholas Rossi during proceedings.''

So he admits he is Rossi, and his DNA matches the crime scene samples. His defence is gradually all falling apart.

Not sure he ever had one! I defy any jury not to burst out laughing at this ridiculous charade.

He's finally admitted his identity - although the reason for 'fleeing' a new far-fetched tale.

Yeah, Just read that! At least his application for bail was refused. "My client is not a flight risk Your Honour!" hehe His wife is sending him money, presumably for his defence, which can't be cheap in the US. How can she not see him for what he is ffs?

No plea deal for Rossi, not a good start to 2025 for Arthur Nicholas.

Having seen the documentaries I really hope there's some kind of catch-up doc afterwards! I really want to see this guys face fall when he's given the maximum time in a supermax prison American 'justice' allows. If USA justice puts rapists in 'supermax' jails of course. The tt deserves it!
His current wife needs counselling. And a stop / block on her bank account!

She is a bit of a sad case. Despite the overwhelming evidence she constantly defended him. She either knew and was complicit or was manipulated to such a degree she basically believed everything he said.

F*cks Sake, Don't say that. If he, or his lawyers, read PH, he'll try and use it in his defence! hehe

Seriously, I hope he gets what he deserves! He's a sick Walter Mitty! I really hope there's a follow up documentary when he's finally banged up. No mention of how his current wife is coping. Whether she's still bankrolling him / sending him money. US lawyers won't be cheap!
