Just a quick one before I goto bed to start work at 6am :silly:

My brother was driving home from work, at just past 10pm, when he stopped at a roundabout. Seeing as nothing was coming, he pulled out. A car (he thinks it was a nova) came barreling round the roundabout at a fair lick with no lights on. He swerved round my brother, who had applied the brakes sharpish, and stopped in front of him. He then proceeded to get out of the car, and started hammering on the window. My brother panicked, and opened the window. The other driver managed to get my brothers name out of him (which my brother would normally never have given, he was pretty damn scared). He then said he would go see his manager (brother was just pulling out of asda wearing asda uniform), and report him for dangerous driving. He also then said if he ever did that again, he'd "break him". My brother than managed to pick me up, tell me what happened, and get home, before he broke down into tears.

Now obviously I'm not happy about this, as I don't believe this b:censored:d should be able to get away with that. If we could obtain evidence, would it be worth reporting this to the police? Would anything likely to come out of it? My brother didnt get a numberplate or anything. There might be cctv footage, but it most likely wouldn't cover the roundabout, however could show a car going into the car park afterwards (possibly have been a late night shift worker is one idea). There were also cars behind him at the time (god knows why they didnt do anything). How would I go about trying to see some footage? I did previously work there also, so that might help swing it. I really don't think anything will come of it, but I don't want to sit back and not do anything.

Well its always a good idea to report these things, even if the police might not be able to do anything about it.

For all you know, that car may have been involved in another incident, and reporting this may give the Police an idea where the car was headed.

You ARE joking, aren't you? Render assistance ... no way, Jose! Sadly, it might well have been that the motorists behind didn't want to get involved in case they were the ones to land in jail - Streaky

Get him to report it to the police and with as good as description as possible and the full circumstances. My wife was in a similar attack last year wherby the other driver actually did damage to her car by kicking the passenger door. Once reported the police were able to take action and also secure CCTV evidence. They are taking these situations seriously. It may prevent some other unfortunate person in the future experiencing a similar attack from this particular moron.
